3. General Information
Jesus the Divine Healer is one of the nine
parishes that comprises the Vicariate of San
Antonio de Padua and one of the fifty churches
comprised of forty-seven parishes, one
chaplaincy, and two shrines belonging to the
Diocese of Parañaque. The Diocese of
Parañaque was formally instituted as an
autonomous local Church in the communities of
Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa Cities,
by His Holiness Pope John Paul II on December
7,2002 under its first Bishop, the Most Reverend
Jesse E. Mercado DD.
4. Goals
To strengthen pastoral formation that is rooted
in the Word of God
To foster and enrich family values and
relationships
To be compassionate to everyone, particularly
the less privileged, the elderly, the sick and the
disabled
To share our charisms and resources, as we
embrace all sectors of our parish
To witness to our Christian faith to others.
