You will need a Pardot account, any edition (Professional, Enterprise or
Ultimate) will work!
You will need a Wistia account. As of December 2013, Wistia offers
complimentary hosting for up to three videos: http://wistia.com/free/new

5. Agenda
Ready to configure Wistia and Pardot?
1. To begin, you’ll enable API Access in Pardot, gathering the API Keyword and
Public Token needed in Pardot.
2. Next, you’ll configure the Wistia Connector in Pardot. Once completed, you’ll
be able to view video activity on a Prospect’s record, change video scoring rules,
and view video reporting.
3. You will then create a Pardot User for Wistia’s Email Turnstile.
4. Then, you will setup an Email Provider in Wistia.
5. Lastly, you’ll add an Email Turnstile to a Wistia Video.

21. Wistia Connector – Prospect Record
Now that you’ve configured the Wistia Connector, you’ll see your Prospects’ video
activities on their record. You must have a Pardot campaign tracking code on any
pages with a Wistia video to track video engagement in Pardot.

22. Wistia Connector – Scoring Rules
Under Admin > Automation Settings > Scoring Rules, you can adjust scoring rules
for Video Play, Video Conversion, and Video Watches 75%.

Under Reports > Video, you can view the plays and conversions for all Wistia
videos.

24. Create a Pardot User for
Wistia’s Email Turnstile

Wistia allows you to prompt a viewer, at anytime during a video, to provide their
email address. This email address can be passed automatically into Pardot.
To configure this functionality, Wistia requires a Pardot username, password,
and User Key.
I recommend creating a new Pardot admin user just for Wistia. You could use an
existing user, but if you ever change your Pardot password, you will need to
remember to update it in Wistia.

Proceed with configuring an Administrator user (
http://www.pardot.com/faqs/videos/users/ ) and then click the Create User
button. For the email address associated with the user, make sure to follow the
activation email for enabling the user.

Return to the Users page and click on the newly created user’s name.

correct project on the Projects tab.
