A collaboration with an Iranian media producer to cross-promote the “Reverse the Wave” Subvertisement and the one-year anniversary of the 2009 Election Protests in Iran. Promoted on social media, the guerilla projections in London were mounted on the Iranian Embassy, the UK Department of Trade and Industry and in a residential neighborhood with a high population of Iranian immigrants. Operation Video Tag was further developed for the Liverpool Biennial. By hiring a mobile advertising van to create a greater street presence the campaign moved around the city, projecting at strategic locations during the opening and closing nights of the Biennial. Once again social media proved invaluable in letting the Biennial audience know about our presence and whereabouts.
