3. MATTHEW 6:9b-13
Our Father, the One who is in the heavens,
hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as it is in the heavens.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins,
as we also have forgiven those
who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
4. MATTHEW 6:9b-13 (Kids’
translation)Hello Daddy! We want to know You. And be close to You. Please show
us how. Make everything in the world
right again. And in our hearts, too. Do what is best—
just like You do in the heavens, and please do it down here, too.
Please give us everything we need today.
Forgive us for doing wrong, for hurting You.
Forgive us just as we forgive other people when
they hurt us. Rescue us! We need You. We don’t want to keep
running away and hiding from You.
And please keep us safe from our enemies.

6. MATTHEW 3:11
I baptize you with water for repentance,
but He who is coming after me is
mightier than I, whose sandals
I am not worthy to carry.
He will baptize you with
the Holy Spirit and fire.
10. THE THREE BAPTISMS
- Water (dead to sin, alive in Jesus)
- Spirit (dead to my strength, alive in Jesus)
- Fire (dead to the old me, alive in Jesus)
13. ROMANS 6:3-4
Do you not know that all of us who
have been baptized into Christ Jesus
were baptized into His death?
We were buried therefore with Him
by baptism into death, in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead
by the glory of the Father, we too might
walk in newness of life.
14. ROMANS 6:6-8
We know that our old self was
crucified with Him in order that
the body of sin might be brought
to nothing, so that we would no longer
be enslaved to sin. For one who has died
has been set free from sin. Now if we
have died with Christ, we believe
that we will also live with Him...
15. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he or she is a new creation.
The old has passed away;
behold, the new has come.

17. SOUL TRAINING EXERCISE
Try praying a slightly different version of
this classic prayer consistently this week:
“Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner…
Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for having mercy on me,
your (son/daughter/child)!”
