This slide shows a little experiment on how to make coffee from coffee beans. Is it possible? Many people ask... 1. How To Make Coffee from Coffee Beans
An experiment to make coffee from whole bean

2. The Whole Bean Coffee
The whole bean coffee is put in a stainless coffee mug
and water poured over to fill the mug.

3. The Cold Brew Coffee Is Ready
After 36 hours I decided that it should be enough for
our experiment and I decided to see the result.

Using a strainer, I poured the coffee from the mug into
a cup.

The coffee beans seem still potent, as the cold brew
didn’t extract too much out of them.
All done, let’s take a closer look.

7. The Coffee Smells Great but Is P
The coffee smells wonderful, in my opinion, better
than any other brew style, and the taste is good, but it
is way too weak. Look at the pale colour.

8. Let’s Boil The Beans Now
Because I suspect that much of the goodness is still in
the coffee, I wanted to boil the coffee and see the
result. So I poured half of the cold brew coffee with
the used beans into an ibrik.

9. Boiling the Whole Coffee Beans
I placed the coffee pot on the stove, and I boiled this
concoction for 20 minutes or so.

The result is on the image above. On the left is the
boiled coffee, which is a bit too acidic, and it smells
burnt, and on the right is the cold brew, which is too
weak, but very flavorful.
