The artist I am researching is Mac DeMarco.
Mac is a 28 year old male singer from Canada.
His genre of music is Indie Rock.
He has a laid back style that is very wacky and funny to watch.
His recode label is Capture Tracks
He bought a house in LA, stayed in all day and made records and sent them off
every day till eventually he got signed.
He just sat in his garden chain smoking, drinking and writing until he got signed
Teenagers and people in their early 20 year olds are his target audience and fan
base.

2. Record Label
The record label that my artist is signed to is Captured Tracks, this was founded in
2008, and named as the result of confusion around the title of the first Blank Dogs
EP. The Blank Dogs is a post punk band that started with Mike Sniper spear
heading the record label. They mostly sign post punk and Indie Pop.
