David Koh Reference - Disabled Wintersport Australia
1. Date: 15 April 2015
To whom it may concern
This letter provides information regarding David Koh and his role as a Volunteer Adaptive
Snowsports Guide with Disabled Wintersport Australia (DWA)
David has been training and participating as a Volunteer Adaptive Snowsports Guide with DWA
programs since 2007. Since joining our organisation, David has taken up a central role with our guide
program and snowboard team in providing adaptive Snowsports support to people with disability.
Both David’s professional and recreational background offer significant strengths to our programs.
David’s most notable strength is the balance he has achieved in his personable approach and good
humor, together with his significant technical skills and excellent rapport with individuals with
special needs.
DWA volunteers and participants have responded enthusiastically to David’s input, in leadership and
support roles. David is comfortable both giving instruction and receiving input from his peers.
Holistically, David is a terrific example of a balanced, mature young man with great skills and an
enthusiastic outlook. In this I would commend him to you in consideration for a role in your
organization.
