And there are also many other things which Jesus did,
Which if they were written in detail,
I suppose that even the world itself would not contain
the books which were written.

2. God had a teaching relationship with Adam
7. Not Religion, but Relationship

And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife,
and clothed them…
- Genesis 3.21

2. God still cared for them, even when they were separate from Him
8. Not Religion, but Relationship

and gave birth to Cain, and she said “I have gotten a manchild with
the help of the Lord.”

10. God the Risk Taker
God’s first risk:
Let Us make Man in Our Image, according to Our likeness; and let

and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping
thing that creeps on the earth.

one wise, she took from its fruit and ate…
- Genesis 3.6
Two things to note:
1. God made Man to be like Him

life, and eat, and live forever…
- Genesis 3.22
Two things to note:
1. God made Man to be like Him
2. God gave Man mercy and separated Man from Himself
14. Who does He say that He is
Power
[]אלהם
From Genesis 1.1, God defines who He is
unapologetically
“All Powers in One”
He does not even acknowledge that there are any others with power
He is it.
15. Who does He say that He is
I AM
[]יהוה
From Genesis 2.4, God defines who He is
unapologetically
“I exist and am all powers in one”
Again, He does not even acknowledge that there are any others
He is it.
16. Who does He say that He is
Father
From Genesis 1.26, God makes it clear,
He alone created Man
Moreover, God goes so far as to say Man is made in His image.
Man is to be like Him.
17. Who does He say that He is
Son
“Lord, show us the Father.” - Philip
“Have I been so long with you, and you have not come to know Me?
He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” - Jesus
- John 14.8-9
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the work that I do shall
he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go
to the Father.
And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may
be glorified in the Son.
- John 14.12-13 (NASB)
18. Who does He say that He is
Agape Love
The Greek word for love without limits, without rewards, without
expectation of return; decision-love without repentance,
once given never rescinded.
For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God did not send the Son into the World to judge the World, but
that the World should be saved through Him.
He who believes is not judged; he who does not believe has been
judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God.
- John 3.16-18 (NASB)
19. Come meet God,
your Father,
Just the way you are
Just where you are in life
Come meet Jesus
The way, the truth, the life
There is no other way
Test Him in this ...
