2. Who is Elohim?
Elohim means
• He is God
• Very God
• Creator God
• In the beginning, Elohim or God
created the heavens and the
earth (Genesis 1).
• In the Hebrew language- Elohim is a
plurality of three.

3. Jehovah or Yehovah is a made-up
name for God using some of the vowels
from Elohim and Adonai ‫ָה‬
‫ו‬ֹ
‫ה‬ְ
‫י‬
Adonai is another Hebrew name for
God
God has many different Hebrew names
that describe His character
The Names of God

4. John 1: 1,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.

5. A culture change has taken place
Evolution was taught as a theory at first
Now it is taught as fact
Most people today have no understanding
of the Bible
Biblical understanding is under constant

6. The First Day
Genesis 1:1-2
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters.

waters which were under the firmament from

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven
be gathered unto one place, and let the dry land

And God called the dry land Earth; and the

the herb yielding seed,
and the fruit tree
yielding fruit after his
kind, whose seed is in
itself, upon the earth:

seed was in itself, after
his kind: and God saw
that it was good.
 And the evening and
the morning were the
third day.

Genesis 1:15-19
And God made two great lights; the greater
light to rule the day, and the lesser light to
rule the night: he made the stars also.

heaven to give light upon the earth, And to
rule over the day and over the night, and to
divide the light from the darkness: and God
saw that it was good.
