5. To create intelligence that eliminates chemical residue in our food supply
to make healthier, safer food for everyone.
Our Mission
7. “By 2050, our total population is projected to grow to
almost 10 billion people and it is estimated that 70%
more food will be needed in 2050 than was
produced in 2009”
- The Economist, 2016
8. If we want to feed the world,
we need to grow food smarter
9. Food production is fundamentally changing…
• Consumers are demanding healthier ingredients
• Commodities that contain trace chemical residues are being rejected by global grain
buyers.
• This trend is increasing, creating a problem for broad-acre producers who rely on
broadcast application of chemical for yield protection.
• A new market is emerging for a “premium commodity” that sits between conventional
farming and organic farming. (the sustainably grown food market)
11. This essential activity represents almost
30% of crop input costs for farmers.
The Problem:
Up to 80% of spray in a broadcast chemical
application is wasted on bare soil.
14. Weed Map Generated
Drone Flight of Grower’s Field
- Drone/Camera collecting field image map (computer vsion)
- Ground Control System - flight plan, field survey & work order
- AI Models deployed/processing in the ‘Brain Box’ on the Drone
- AI model identifies weeds
- Polygons attributed to images
- Precise Coordinate locations of weeds are generated
- Weed map generates polygon data to create Rx map
- Polygons identify spray location needs
- SHP/XML file generated to feed existing sprayer systems
Prescription Map Generated
Grower Sprays & Chemical is Applied
- Polygons identify spray locations needed
- SHP/XML file is delivered to existing sprayer systems
PRECISION AI’S PRODUCT 1 - AI SUBSCRIBED GROUND SPRAYERS
15. Product 1 for ground sprayers accesses a farmer’s existing sectional and nozzle control and amplifies it with
Precision AI’s Artificial Intelligence Platform - automatically turning off the spray nozzles where the weeds aren’t
ADVANTAGES
- No sprayer modifications required
- Estimated 50% in Chemical savings
- Green on Brown – Spraying everything that's growing (early season)
- Green on Green – In Crop wheat and canola that targets only your weeds
- Edge A.I. (no internet connectivity required)
PRECISION AI’S PRODUCT 1 - AI SUBSCRIBED GROUND SPRAYERS
(AVAILABLE PRE-LAUNCH 2022)
16. Our System In Action – Fall 2020
- Spraying can happen almost immediately, as everything is performed in real-time on the drone itself.
- Reduce chemical input costs by up to 50%, without altering the farmer’s workflow.
- Do what they do today, only 50% cheaper!
18. Disruptive Technology
• High performance AI system capable of
identifying over 24,000 species of plants
• Real-time weed/crop detection at up to
60km/hr ground speed.
• Intelligent Drones with onboard AI
• “See and spray” on a drone in real-time!
• Operates up to 3x faster than ground
sprayers
19. Object Detection & Plant Species Classification
Treat only the weeds, not the crop – uses up to 95% less spray.

AWS INFRASTRUCTURE
CROP MODELS ARE TRAINED ON
1,000’S OF IMAGES
WE HAVE SPECIALIZED
AGRONOMISTS WORKING WITH
OUR AI TEAM TO ANNOTATE THE
IMAGES
23. Some Fun Data Stats….
▪ Crop Images are taken at 0.5 mm resolution
▪ Drone captures images at an altitude of up to 7 metres and flies at speeds up to 60 Km/Hr
▪ We are capturing massive amounts of data – 7.77 TB of raw data per 1/4 section (160 acres)
▪ Approx. 250,000 images are taken per 1/4 section
▪ We are using PostGres to store our Relational data from the fields, images are stored in a file
system on our brain box and then processing takes place in an Amazon S3 Data Lake
▪ We have 580,000 images collected to date and we will be adding millions of more images this
Spring
26. Servicing the Customer (once per season):
1. At the start of the growing season,
The farmer inputs their crop type(s)
into the app, and pays the annual fee
for the AI model license.
2. After payment is received,
the Precision.ai cloud dynamically
provisions the optimal AI model
for their crop type, soil type, and region.
3. The personalized AI model is
automatically downloaded
(over LTE or WiFi) to the
Precision.ai “Brain Box”
on the on-site drone
30. Reduction in herbicide usage
(spraying from the drone)
Less Diesel Fuel Used Reduction in Carbon
93%
Sustainable Outcomes:
Reducing the Ecological footprint
1.3g/acre 29lb/acre

(Spraying from the Drone)
Rantizo – North America
XAG – North America
39. ▪ Precision AI is retrofitting drones and ground sprayers with AI and computer vision to spray
only the weeds and nothing else.
▪ We will achieve up to 93% reduction in chemical input costs, saving a farmer $36 per acre
on herbicide costs each year.
▪ Our patent-pending approach is an entire order of magnitude less expensive than
competing approaches.
▪ Competing solutions require investments of $150,000 USD - $650,000 USD in new specialized
equipment; Difficult to justify payback for farming operations smaller than 10,000 acres.
▪ The savings on chemical costs can be parlayed into a “Spray as a Service” model, where a
farmer can outsource their crop protection for less than the cost of chemical they’re using
today.
