Personal Statement
A passionate and experienced educator who loves waking up to go to work
in a morning, knowing that each day will be different, and each student will be
learning through the exciting and engaging lessons that will be taught. Danielle
is open minded and dedicated to making sure that each child learns to the
best of their ability. She loves teaching young students however, has always
had a dream of teaching adults who aspire to be teachers themselves. She
wants to share her love and passion for teaching with others, and is seeking
out this career advancement and new challenge at the college level.
Professional Experience
Currently teaching in the Alhambra school district in a
kindergarten classroom. Responsibilities include:
designing and following lesson plans that coincide with
the Common Core Standards, teaching the alphabet
and number sense, along with behavioral and social
skills, and Implementing class management that will
enhance classroom community
