- 5. 55 Financial Indicators – In/Out of the Money Which addresses are currently making or losing money on their holdings? At what price points are the largest concentrations of addresses? For any address with a balance of tokens, ITB identifies the average price at which those tokens were purchased and compares it to the current price.
- 6. 66 Financial Indicators – Break Even Price This indicator looks at realized gains and losses for all the on-chain addresses that currently have a token balance. This graph shows the price that asset would need to reach for the address to break even. For any address with a balance of tokens, ITB calculates its P&L by adding all sells and subtracting all buys made by the address in its entire history
- 7. 77 Financial Indicators – Large Transactions ITB identifies on-chain transactions larger than $100K USD We present this chart with three separate views: “Count”, “Avg. Balance” and “Avg. Volume” If the number of large transactions is increasing, does that mean that there are more institutional players such as OTC desks or whales in a particular asset?
- 8. 88 Financial Indicators - Bulls vs Bears How many players bought or sold more than 1% of the crypto asset’s daily volume? ITB identifies the addresses that bought or sold more than 1% of the volume traded in a 24h period. Is volume traded concentrated or diversified? What is the sentiment of large traders of this asset? How has this sentiment changed over time?
- 9. 99 Financial Indicators – Average Transaction Size (In $) ITB sums the total value of all transactions (in $) on a daily basis and divides that value by the number of transactions that day to arrive at the Avg Trx Size in $ If there is a sustained increase in the avg trx size, is it because there are larger traders or is it for some other reason?
- 10. 1010 Financial Indicators – Average Balance (In $) ITB calculates this indicator by taking the Market cap of a crypto-asset and dividing it by the number of addresses that currently have a token balance, excluding zero balance addresses to arrive at the average balance in $.
- 11. 1111 Financial Indicators – Correlation to BTC ITB measures the correlation of an asset’s daily returns to Bitcoin’s daily returns over the last 30 or 60 days, depending on the view that is chosen. This correlation indicator helps us understand how an asset’s price moves in relation with Bitcoin’s price. This is important as an investor who is trying to construct a portfolio of crypto-assets
- 12. 1212 Network Indicators – Address Stats ITB displays the activity of addresses of an asset, broken down into 3 separate buckets: Active, New and Zero-Balance addresses. Active addresses: We define an active address as one that has made a transaction in the last 24 hours. New Addresses: We define a new address as one that was created in the last 24 hours Zero Balance Addresses: We define Zero- Balance addresses as those that went from having a balance to zero in the last 24 hours.
- 13. 1313 Network Indicators – Transactions This graph shows the number and volume of on-chain transactions we identify from an asset’s underlying blockchain. Intotheblock records a transaction every time an asset changes from one address to another. We track two metrics on our transactions chart, the total volume of tokens transacted in a 24hr period as well as the total number of transactions over that same 24 hr period.
- 14. 1414 Network Indicators – East vs West Where (geographically) is the asset mostly traded? Can we call it a global (evenly traded) asset? ITB sums all transactions with their timestamps and classifies them as: West: transactions from 10 AM to 10 PM UTC East: transactions from 10 PM to 10 AM UTC
- 15. 1515 Network Indicators – Average time between Transactions We calculate this indicator by measuring the time in between transactions on a crypto-assets blockchain. Note that this is usually pre-determined by the blockchain’s protocol as the time it should take to process a block (which contains all of the individual transactions).
- 16. 1616 Network Indicators – Average time token is held Shows how long an address holds the asset, on average, before it is sent to a different address. This metric is useful for comparing across crypto assets and provides a high level view on how the asset is being used.
- 17. 1717 Ownership Indicators – Whales What is the size of large holders and their impact on a crypto asset? In what direction is concentration changing? ITB identifies all addresses that own more than 1% of crypto asset - those whales with 300+ transactions are defined as “high activity addresses”
- 18. 1818 Ownership Indicators – Investors ITB identifies all addresses that own between 0.1% to 1% of an asset’s token supply. We also further break down the Investor addresses into high and low activity addresses in red and blue colors respectively.
- 19. 1919 Ownership Indicators – HODLRs We segment the addresses of an asset based on the duration of time that they’ve held onto the address for. At Intotheblock we segment these holders into 3 categories based on duration HODLR: We define a HOLDR as an address that has held the asset for more than 1 year
- 20. 2020 Ownership Indicators – Cruisers We segment the addresses of an asset based on the duration of time that they’ve held onto the address for. At Intotheblock we segment these holders into 3 categories based on duration Cruiser: We define a Cruiser as an address that has held the asset between 1 and 12 months
- 21. 2121 Ownership Indicators – Traders We segment the addresses of an asset based on the duration of time that they’ve held onto the address for. At Intotheblock we segment these holders into 3 categories based on duration Trader: Finally, we define a Trader as an address that has held the asset for less than 30 days
- 22. 2222 Social Indicators – Telegram Metrics Is interest around the asset growing or shrinking? This chart tracks the number of Members in the token’s official Telegram group on a daily basis.
