1. Love Is Blind
”For the poor it is difficult to keep body and soul together, but for the unsuccessful lovers like
you, it is difficult to keep body and mind together, especially in the class.”
Respected Sir and my worthy listeners assalam.o.alikum, My name is danyal raza and my topic
is love is blind, how many of you considered yourself as unsuccessful lover if you do so then let
me tell you an interesting story .the teacher completed his exhaustive lecture and pointed to a
boy whose scattered hair and unshaved face, clearly reflected the instinctive antipathy, he had
with the barber. He was continuously staring at the ceiling as if endeavoring to disclose some of
the mysteries of the Universe. The teacher asked “Who killed Liaquat Ali khan?” but he did not
rise from his reverie. The teacher repeated his question, but the boy showed the same supreme
indifference, the teacher repeated the question again and the boy suddenly realizing the gravity
of the situations rose from his chair and said with an amazing innocence, “I swear sir, I never
did it”.”The whole class burst into laughter.
Love , no doubt is the most sacred of all human passion , but the kind of part time, cheap
sentimental , and immature love, prevailing in our youngsters ,inspired by novels and movies ,
proves devastating for their mental , physical , emotional and let me say, sexual health. Such
students are not difficult to find, who were once bright and intelligent but the whole of their
academic career was ruined as they plunged deeper and deeper into the thorny valley of love
Worthy Listeners, much is said and read against narcotics, but I believe that like the anti-drug
campaign, an anti-love campaign should also be initiated with immediate effect. A comparison
between the various stages of the lovers and drug-addicts will show the striking resemblance
between the two. A drug –addict in the initial stages feels depression and no frustration. A lover
too, in the initial stages of his love, feels himself in a paradise, with beauty, fragrance and joy all
around. His eyes get a new shine. Melodious romantic songs are forever on his lips and he is
just like a rose in full-bloom. Now coming to the drug-addict , when the drugs begin to show its
effect, blood pressure , nervous breakdown , muscular pain, are the usual symptoms that
slowly but surely drag him to a death in a street of foot –path. The horrible condition of a
deserted and rejected lover is precisely the same..
Another bitter fact to be remembered in this connection is that while the drug-addicts can be
saved from imminent death, by timely medical care, no effective treatment suffer from “The
disease of the heart “, which is the most horrible of all disease

2. Worthy president, some ambitious lovers inspired by the characters of our folks tales, even go
to the extent of committing suicide, after failing in their love. It is better known to Allah ,
whether their souls re-unit eternally in the other world or not , but the fact remains that their
untimely death , proves a devastating blow for the rest of their family ,Moreover , the heroes
and heroines of our movies are bound to unite but our enthusiastic lovers trying to imitate
them , soon find to their embarrassment that the world of fiction is entirely different from the
world of reality; but often it is too late and by this time , they have ruined their lives as well as
those of their beloved
These bitter facts are quite sufficient to prove the profound truth of Shakespeare saying “Love
is blind and the Lovers cannot see the follies they themselves commit”
In the end I suggest that if you have to love someone love Allah SBT who deserve true love and
he doesn’t want anything from you , people have spend more time to worship their love but I
say that spend one mili second to have sincere love to Allah sbt and then see you how your life
change. If you have to love someone love Prophet Muhammad Saw who has spent every
second of his life to spread Islam. If you have to love someone love your Parents who have
spent money on you so that you become a respectable personality.
Love in fact is a passion when it gets the upper hands; such follies are quiet natural the only
way to get the rid of the destructive effect of this blind love is not allow it to become s o
dominant it must remain with the limits of wisdom.
