Thinking about purchasing a camera for someone? Or would you just like a new camera yourself?
Do you know what to look for? Would you like to take better holiday photos this year? Would you
like to edit the photos you take – fix the exposure, crop out the neighbor’s kid?
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to choose a camera and get some tips on how to use the
features of the camera you have. You’ll learn how to use some basic composition principles to take
better photos and then how to fix the photos you take.
About the presenter:
Nancy Vickers is a native Houstonian whose passion for
photography began with the decision to go to Africa with a
group of photographers. After 10 days of "hands on" learning,
she came home with some really good shots and an eagerness to
learn more and take more photos. Since that trip to Africa,
Nancy has taken formal classes and additional photography
trips for informal "hands on" training.
In her other professional life, Nancy is a change management
and training consultant currently working on a project for
Technip.
