2. Who is Amanda Chong?
• Published writer at age 11.
• Award-winning poet at age 16.
• Top A-Level Literature student outside of Britain.
• Studied law at both Cambridge and Harvard.
• She has a flair for poetry.
• One of her poetries was engraved into the Marina
Bay Helix Bridge.
3. What is all about?
ReadAble is an online Non-profit organization which enables illiterate
underprivileged children to read and at the same time Aims to teach
them, It was Started by Amanda Chong as well as Michelle Yeo and
Jonathon Muk.
ReadAble teach a phonics-based curriculum to earliest readers and deliver
a programme which complements the primary school syllabus for those
who have mastered the basics of reading.
ReadAble use drama, movement and play to draw out a love for reading,
build self-confidence, and encourage creativity.
4. Benefits
• ReadAble benefits children by providing them
knowledge as well as opening up opportunities for
children who may not have the means or come from
social inequality background.
• ReadAble also wants equality for all children and to
give children a chance to read and write well
