2. I used facebook in order to publish my video further ‘to friends’ in order to get constructive feedback about what people really thought about my music video.
3. I used you tube so I could obtain strict feedback not only from friends but also ‘worldwide’ therefore I used new media technologies in a way to receive my audience feedback.
4. To receive audience feedback through these new media technologies I had to covert my video on to iTunes in order to insert my video onto You Tube. I also had to convert my video from imovie onto the quick time desktop in order to be able to convert my video from different desktops, I had to make my music video ‘full quality’
5. What People had to say about my Music video “I thought that the music video was a joy to watch, and was very appealing to people or age 16-18 year olds, I thought that all the transition between the slides worked exceptionally well and also there was a continuous theme throughout the video..” “The music video wasn’t my cup of tea as it was too girly for me, but I though to say it has been made by a A2 media student I thought It was done to a good standard and you could tell that this was her video as it suited her personality, I thought that the lip sinking was done to a good standard, to the best she could, and I still was drawn in to watch the video further due to the short glittery dress and also as all the girls within the video was very attractive”
6. “ The music video was up my street as it is a pop genre which I love and also a girls band which I appeals to me, I liked the contrast throughout the music video of the natural setting with natural lighting and then the studio based setting for the black and white/ old fashioned sections. I also loved the old film effect and also black and white effect it worked really well the image she was wanting to create. I thought the Polaroid photos worked really well although I think maybe she could had not used them as much as she did throughout the music video or maybe just used them in a different way instead of just the a girl looking into the photo then the photo appearing as I have seen this done before in other music videos therefore its not so original.”
7. Overall After publicising my music video, overall my feedback was very positive. The audience were able to acknowledge the correct target audience through the forms and conventions in the music video. “Attracts male through the sex appeal of the girls and attracts the women as they generally like the music and also the girls may inspire other women” “Clear that a pop video” “Very Impressive” The advice I received in order to improve my music video was very useful, and if I was to improve my video I would make my music video less repetitive throughout. Also, I would include maybe some dancing scenes to add some more action into the video and not just them walking about and mainly just trying to look nice almost throughout the video. “Maybe could do with bit more going on throughout not just the girls standing about or just walking around maybe some dancing would be a good option” “Very professional”
