Goin Legit Research Paper
Goin' Legit was a very interesting talk. There is an estimated of $53.3 billion of total estimated
cannabis sales in North America. 87% of the sales are illegal which is a huge number, states are
slowly legalizing weed such as Massachusetts and Maine. Weed is a schedule 1 drug which lack of
banking and high taxes are killing the industry. There are many issues on weed. Doctors can't
prescribe the drug because it's not a federally approved drug in the United States. Also marijuana
affects everyone differently so it's hard testing for intoxication unlike the traditional BAC test for
alcohol. Also the prohibition has made weed more potent, which is too strong to the normal
consumer. In addition, weed is a commodity and can legally only be grown

Reflection About Service
Service is a work of will. Throughout our lives, we complete service that may be unknown to us.
Service does not always mean doing things for a time frame for a signed paper to turn into school,
but service could mean even the smaller things from helping an injured student to their classroom
or offering help to a teacher carrying too many things. Throughout my almost three years at
DePaul College Prep, I have completed my service requirements, but I also found the things I did
enjoyable; I did not feel forced to do most of the service that I did. I would really like to believe
the service that I completed helped others, along with the community, but the more important aspect
of the service completed was that it opened my eyes to a greater good and allowed me to give more
of myself to others than to focus solely on myself.
My freshman year was kind of a blur. Most of the things that happened that year seemed to have
faded away mostly because it was the easiest year, so far, that I had experienced. If I do recall
correctly, I did my service by helping out the elementary girls volleyball leagues held at the
gymnasium at my high school. This was known as the Spring Little League, and there, I helped to
referee a couple games, and I also helped with admissions and scores. I was able to offer my time
and efforts to these young girls playing, along with my own Coach, Coach Tony. I learned that
everything was better with numbers. I was helping out Coach Tony with my whole team, and

Writing Reflection
The four writing prompts over the course of the 2017 fall semester, have brought out different
strengths in my writing. In the past, my English teachers gave similar prompts and I began to
feel comfortable in those forms of writing. This semester has challenged what I always knew and
made me work harder to produce a finished copy. In each project there was a different target
audience and also a different tone and voice needed to successfully complete each assignment. I
have developed deeper skills in critical thinking and revision skills as well as became a more
direct writer. Becoming a more developed writer is the of the main goals of a composition class.
Starting out, I was confident in great word play, coming from the fact that is what my teachers
looked for in high school. In this class I noticed that the diversity in topics provided a variety of
ways to convey my messages across. For example, in my literacy narrative, I reflected upon
myself. My voice was informative and I had more of a relaxed tone, this happened solely because I
can explain my personal stories better than anyone else. In that essay, I had to relay keen facts and
sensory imagery so that my audience could feel as though they were there. Another example of
diversity in tone and voice is my rhetorical analysis, in which I used a more persuasive choice of
writing. The writing for change and career analysis pieces were based upon combining sources and
personal opinions. This created a credible paper to

Reflection On Eportfolio
Welcome to my eportfolio, here you will find an in–depth analysis about my WOVE experiences in
English250. By creating my eportfolio I have learned my weaknesses and strengths within my
written, oral, visual, and electronic communication modes. When you begin exploring my portfolio,
I will be sharing with you on how I have grown within the WOVE areas this semester.
Here is a brief overview of what you can find on my eportfolio. The menu section that is located at
the top of the website can be easily used to navigate my introductory, about me, WOVE, reflection,
and closing pages. These pages can also be easily accessed on the contents which is located at the
top right side of each page. The WOVE page has a drop–down box menu that contains my written
communication, and OVE communication modes. Also, the reflection page has a drop–down box
menu that contains my reflection on my written revision, reflection on OVE artifact, and Special
reflection about E. The closing page will contain my final closing reflection and my about me page,
will personally tell you more about myself.
My composing techniques have slightly changed since I began this course, I learned the important
aspects of using a rough draft. At the beginning of this semester I would spend more time writing
down my thoughts on a paper then organizing my thoughts within the rough draft. I learned that it
is ineffective for me to just write down my ideas on a paper with no purpose because I tend to
jumble my words. By

My Experience To The Library
Experience at the Library
The library is a wonderful place to go to if you would like a quiet place to work. I like being at the
library because it is filled with knowledge, and there are many different books that interest me. I
enjoy going to the library because walking there clears my mind. Also, there are many books that are
available for the public to read and it is a quiet place to do work. To start, the walk to the library is
relaxing and peaceful. I decided to go to the library on September 21st for a college assignment.
While walking to the library I was intrigued by the many things that were going on around me. I
saw a mailman riding on a bicycle delivering mail which was something that I've never seen before.
Also, something that was very surprising to me was that there was a group of children running
behind an ice–cream truck which was a single block in front of me. I found this very amusing and I
continued to watch until they were out of sight. It made me think about when I was little and
what I used to do when I heard the ice cream truck come around my house. After walking for quite a
bit of time I began to feel tired and dehydrated. I began to wish I had chased after the ice cream
truck and got an ice cream to it, but it was gone already. I normally don't walk to the library so I
guess that was the reason I was so easily tired. I decided to buy a drink from the local corner store to
regain some of my energy. The library is home to knowledge which is why it

Resume Reflection
This was a mock resumГ© that I created in my 12th grade AP english class. The resumГ© was
used as a practice for when we need to create them for professional jobs later in life. We were
asked to create a resumГ© in a standard format and include information about ourselves that would
make a potential hiring manager want to pick us. I highlighted all of my achievements and my
academic successes, as well as including my interests and contact information. This project helped
me understand the proper way to write a resumГ©, and helped me learn how to focus on my
strengths. Before doing this project, I really didn't know how to format a resumГ©, nor did I fully
know what went into it. This benefited me significantly, and now I feel confident that I

Customer Service Essay examples
Companies are misguided nowadays by the notion that customers depend on them, when the truth of
the matter is that companies are dependent on those customers. Customer satisfaction and customer
loyalty is now essential for a business or company to survive. So what is the difference between
customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and how to companies and or business achieve this? Also
when you have difficult customers how do you achieve customer satisfaction?
It's essential that companies or businesses today listen to their customers. No company or business
today can afford to disregard the importance of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Aren't they the
same thing? No, they are absolutely not and they are enormously...show more content...
Customer loyalty is much harder to obtain that customer service satisfaction. The most important
first step is to satisfy the customer by meeting their expectations. Customers only give a company
one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well
as tell others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a
business goes above and beyond to assist the customer they begin to build loyalty. The next step is
to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to
make them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer
service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new
customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). So it's
essential to keep the current customer's happy and coming back for more.
Some of the ways that businesses can build loyalty would be by offering loyalty programs,
Interacting with customers, surveys, creating institutional ties, and personalized marketing. Another
way to build loyalty is to treat your employees so well that they treat your customers well. If you
have happy employees they will treat your customers happy. "The link between satisfaction and
loyalty however is not proportional" (Kotler, Keller, 2009, p71), so businesses must

COM525: Managerial Communication and Ethics
Edward L. Dempsey

Modern technology has set the stage for today's industries to adopt faster, more effective and
efficient tools to improve their business and productivity. A vast majority of organizations within
various industries are using new technology to introduce changes to their business operations. Simply
stated, these changes are manifested in what they do, with whom they do it, how they do it, and the
tools they use to get it done. However, it is worthwhile to note that, while technology can offer

Changes in how banks are providing their service has affected, and will continue to affect hiring
practices, as more online services become available, demanding the need to employ computer
specialists.
Online banking is also changing the way banks market their products. Customers are not just seeing
the new interest rate offer for opening a one–year CD or money market account, on an easel as they
walk into their local branch. Today's banker sees the ad on a flashing banner as they launch their
bank's website. Banks also advertise various types of loans, investment accounts and insurance
products that are easy to purchase or open with an online application. The growing use of new
credit scoring software allows banks to advertise a guaranteed answer or 24 hour approval on such
applications. E–tools for conducting such services have completely changed old banking processes,
and provide new, more convenient ways of banking, that Banks are using to lure customers into their
business.
The customer's of online banking reap many benefits from the added convenience of online banking,
but the nature of banking has completely changed and requires new skills. For instance, basic
personal computer skills are a must for bankers wanting to enter the online banking world. Bankers
will now need to be able to maneuver through the numerous tabs, buttons and icons on their
computers, to be able to access their accounts, and complete transactions. Officials

Essay on Website Design
Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo, Google, and Twitter are all websites that people use every day, but
how did they get there and how were they created? Website design is a process of assorting and
linking codes and graphics into a text editor such as notepad and then displaying it onto a web
browser. There is a large amount of things to remember for website design. Ranging from HTML,
CSS, and XHTML codes to scripting languages like Java Script. Website design has a vast history
considering it is a fairly young profession. Website design uses complex codes to create web pages
in addition with programs aiding in the creation; when you join the two components together it is a
long complicated process that ends in purchasing a domain name for a...show more content...
Websites did not need to be big, elaborate, and flashy. They just needed to get the point across, and
that is exactly the purpose they served. In 1994 the World Wide WebConsortim or W3C was
established to oversee the development of web technology standards. The W3C designated
HTML as the primary code language for the future of website design to be based on. Of course
they have made advancements in the base design code such as HTML versions one, two, three,
four, and XHTML. The very first and current director of W3C is Tim Berners–Lee. Tim actually
invented the World Wide Web in 1991 and created the world's first website. He put the first
website online on August 6, 1991. The web address was http://info.cern.ch/. Unfortunately it no
longer exists in its original form. The W3C is still in charge of code techniques and development
guidelines that website development follows. Technology has advanced over the years in web
design. Website design is cut up into four generations. The first generation of web design was
very simple. It was basically just text, this was because early modems were very slow and plain
basic webpages would load much faster this way. The second generation was slightly more
advanced as the development of HTML became more complicated. The third generation of web
design is when website designers could add vibrant colors and animated images to their webpage.

William Bradford Qualities
"Some are born great others achiever greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them"
Shakespeare's, Twelfth Night Throughout history, there have been great leaders, some for the good
of humanity, and some for the not–so good of humanity. The one element all leaders have in
common is in some way, have changed the course of history. The one great leader I have found to
be interesting and envision of a great leader is William Bradford, an original passenger on the
Mayflower, and the first ever governor elected on what is to become, American Soil. William
Bradford is the epitome of somebody who never intended to become the person he became, never
seeking out leadership, or fame, he just wanted to help his fellow man live a...show more content...
In one basic respect, the Pilgrims are a logical outcome of the Reformation. This alliance was
dangerous, as Separatist were often arrested, imprisoned, even hanged for treason on the orders
of King James I of England. When Bradford and his fellow separatist heard King James I was
intending to "harry them for the land", (Kelso, 2005) the entire congregation fled to the
Netherlands. The refuges lived in the Netherlands, first in Amsterdam and then in Leiden, and for
a short time, were able to worship in the way they believed in without government harassment.
However, life Leiden became extremely difficult, many of the refuges, including Bradford barley
made enough of a living as textile workers to support their families. Also during this time, The
Netherlands are on the brink of war with Catholic Spain. Pressured by the English King James I,
the Dutch government began to harass the refuges to the point of damaging their presses that
printed the Separatists literature, to stoning them. The Separatists had finally had enough,
deciding to make a new life and a new home overseas, in a new country where they could make
their own rules and have the freedom of their religion without prejudice or persecution. This
decision is how and when William Bradford first started to show his skills as a leader. Once the
decision is made to immigrate to the east coast of The America's, Bradford, now thirty years old,
married, with a young

1.1a ExercisePhysical inactivity is one of the modifiable risk factor for the coronary heart diseases
(Devries et al, 2011), and therefore exercise is used as an integral component of the primary and
secondary prevention in reducing mortality and improving the quality of life. Upon reviewing the
literature, the author found that, patients' perspective about physical exercise differs widely. In their
study Holder et al (2015) found that, the increased awareness of the mortality after the cardiac event,
help the patients to change their outlook towards life and this further help them to realise the health
benefit of exercise. In addition to that, some of the patients claimed that, exercise helped to divert
their mind and thus helps them to cope with the condition (Holder et al, 2015). Moreover, the
current cardiac rehabilitation programme, made the patients aware of the health benefits of exercise
and, therefore they were motivated to continue the exercise (Hillsdon et al, 2013; Morken et al,
2013). Exercising in a safe environment, under the supervision of the trained staff increases the
confidence of patients in participating exercise (Morken et al, 2013). The study also found that, the
patient increases their self–confidence level in performing exercise, after seeing the health
improvements in the former cardiac patients (Morken et al, 2013). Furthermore, Back et al (2017)
carried a further study to evaluate

Worst Day Of My Life Essay
January 16, 2016–notably was the worst day of my life. I was awaken by a crying mother
struggling to tell me that my father had passed away in his sleep. The terror stricken sixteen year
old me immediately returned to the three year old kicking and screaming child you are most afraid
to babysit. The days following were extremely difficult and somewhat of a blur. Through this
tragedy, I learned to embrace support from family and friends. The first few months of living with
this tragedy were very hard. There was the hole in my heart I felt because my dad was not there
anymore. The memories continued to surface, but stung because I knew I would never be able to
make more memories with my father. There were several "firsts" I had to face; first birthday, first
day of Senior year, first Christmas. Friends and family were very supportive during this time, but
nothing compared to the support I received from my dad when I did something for the first time.
Other than my mother, I felt like my biggest supporter was done cheering for me. One of the "firsts"
I had to go through was my birthday. My dad was the life of the party. There was never a time a
genuine smile or comical laugh was not appearing from his face. This year we did not have that.
We still had a lot gathered at the house, but there was one person in particular who was not there
to make my birthday extra special. It was a weird feeling on the first day of Senior year when I did
not stand in front of my house and have a

Service does not always mean doing things for a time frame for a signed paper to turn into school, but service could mean even the smaller things from helping an injured student to their classroom or offering help to a teacher carrying too many things. Throughout my almost three years at DePaul College Prep, I have completed my service requirements, but I also found the things I did enjoyable; I did not feel forced to do most of the service that I did. I would really like to believe the service that I completed helped others, along with the community, but the more important aspect of the service completed was that it opened my eyes to a greater good and allowed me to give more of myself to others than to focus solely on myself. My freshman year was kind of a blur. Most of the things that happened that year seemed to have faded away mostly because it was the easiest year, so far, that I had experienced. If I do recall correctly, I did my service by helping out the elementary girls volleyball leagues held at the gymnasium at my high school. This was known as the Spring Little League, and there, I helped to referee a couple games, and I also helped with admissions and scores. I was able to offer my time and efforts to these young girls playing, along with my own Coach, Coach Tony. I learned that everything was better with numbers. I was helping out Coach Tony with my whole team, and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Writing Reflection The four writing prompts over the course of the 2017 fall semester, have brought out different strengths in my writing. In the past, my English teachers gave similar prompts and I began to feel comfortable in those forms of writing. This semester has challenged what I always knew and made me work harder to produce a finished copy. In each project there was a different target audience and also a different tone and voice needed to successfully complete each assignment. I have developed deeper skills in critical thinking and revision skills as well as became a more direct writer. Becoming a more developed writer is the of the main goals of a composition class. Starting out, I was confident in great word play, coming from the fact that is what my teachers looked for in high school. In this class I noticed that the diversity in topics provided a variety of ways to convey my messages across. For example, in my literacy narrative, I reflected upon myself. My voice was informative and I had more of a relaxed tone, this happened solely because I can explain my personal stories better than anyone else. In that essay, I had to relay keen facts and sensory imagery so that my audience could feel as though they were there. Another example of diversity in tone and voice is my rhetorical analysis, in which I used a more persuasive choice of writing. The writing for change and career analysis pieces were based upon combining sources and personal opinions. This created a credible paper to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Reflection On Eportfolio Welcome to my eportfolio, here you will find an in–depth analysis about my WOVE experiences in English250. By creating my eportfolio I have learned my weaknesses and strengths within my written, oral, visual, and electronic communication modes. When you begin exploring my portfolio, I will be sharing with you on how I have grown within the WOVE areas this semester. Here is a brief overview of what you can find on my eportfolio. The menu section that is located at the top of the website can be easily used to navigate my introductory, about me, WOVE, reflection, and closing pages. These pages can also be easily accessed on the contents which is located at the top right side of each page. The WOVE page has a drop–down box menu that contains my written communication, and OVE communication modes. Also, the reflection page has a drop–down box menu that contains my reflection on my written revision, reflection on OVE artifact, and Special reflection about E. The closing page will contain my final closing reflection and my about me page, will personally tell you more about myself. My composing techniques have slightly changed since I began this course, I learned the important aspects of using a rough draft. At the beginning of this semester I would spend more time writing down my thoughts on a paper then organizing my thoughts within the rough draft. I learned that it is ineffective for me to just write down my ideas on a paper with no purpose because I tend to jumble my words. By Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Experience To The Library Experience at the Library The library is a wonderful place to go to if you would like a quiet place to work. I like being at the library because it is filled with knowledge, and there are many different books that interest me. I enjoy going to the library because walking there clears my mind. Also, there are many books that are available for the public to read and it is a quiet place to do work. To start, the walk to the library is relaxing and peaceful. I decided to go to the library on September 21st for a college assignment. While walking to the library I was intrigued by the many things that were going on around me. I saw a mailman riding on a bicycle delivering mail which was something that I've never seen before. Also, something that was very surprising to me was that there was a group of children running behind an ice–cream truck which was a single block in front of me. I found this very amusing and I continued to watch until they were out of sight. It made me think about when I was little and what I used to do when I heard the ice cream truck come around my house. After walking for quite a bit of time I began to feel tired and dehydrated. I began to wish I had chased after the ice cream truck and got an ice cream to it, but it was gone already. I normally don't walk to the library so I guess that was the reason I was so easily tired. I decided to buy a drink from the local corner store to regain some of my energy. The library is home to knowledge which is why it Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Resume Reflection This was a mock resumГ© that I created in my 12th grade AP english class. The resumГ© was used as a practice for when we need to create them for professional jobs later in life. We were asked to create a resumГ© in a standard format and include information about ourselves that would make a potential hiring manager want to pick us. I highlighted all of my achievements and my academic successes, as well as including my interests and contact information. This project helped me understand the proper way to write a resumГ©, and helped me learn how to focus on my strengths. Before doing this project, I really didn't know how to format a resumГ©, nor did I fully know what went into it. This benefited me significantly, and now I feel confident that I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Customer Service Essay examples Companies are misguided nowadays by the notion that customers depend on them, when the truth of the matter is that companies are dependent on those customers. Customer satisfaction and customer loyalty is now essential for a business or company to survive. So what is the difference between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and how to companies and or business achieve this? Also when you have difficult customers how do you achieve customer satisfaction? It's essential that companies or businesses today listen to their customers. The most important first step is to satisfy the customer by meeting their expectations. Customers only give a company one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well as tell others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a business goes above and beyond to assist the customer they begin to build loyalty. The next step is to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to make them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). So it's essential to keep the current customer's happy and coming back for more. Some of the ways that businesses can build loyalty would be by offering loyalty programs, Interacting with customers, surveys, creating institutional ties, and personalized marketing. Another way to build loyalty is to treat your employees so well that they treat your customers well. If you have happy employees they will treat your customers happy. "The link between satisfaction and loyalty however is not proportional" (Kotler, Keller, 2009, p71), so businesses must Get more content on HelpWriting.net

In 1994 the World Wide WebConsortim or W3C was established to oversee the development of web technology standards. The W3C designated HTML as the primary code language for the future of website design to be based on. Of course they have made advancements in the base design code such as HTML versions one, two, three, four, and XHTML. The very first and current director of W3C is Tim Berners–Lee. Tim actually invented the World Wide Web in 1991 and created the world's first website. He put the first website online on August 6, 1991. The web address was http://info.cern.ch/. Unfortunately it no longer exists in its original form. The W3C is still in charge of code techniques and development guidelines that website development follows. Technology has advanced over the years in web design. Website design is cut up into four generations. The first generation of web design was very simple. It was basically just text, this was because early modems were very slow and plain basic webpages would load much faster this way. The second generation was slightly more advanced as the development of HTML became more complicated. The third generation of web design is when website designers could add vibrant colors and animated images to their webpage. The evolution of websites and their Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 12. Worst Day Of My Life Essay January 16, 2016–notably was the worst day of my life. I was awaken by a crying mother struggling to tell me that my father had passed away in his sleep. The terror stricken sixteen year old me immediately returned to the three year old kicking and screaming child you are most afraid to babysit. The days following were extremely difficult and somewhat of a blur. Through this tragedy, I learned to embrace support from family and friends. The first few months of living with this tragedy were very hard. There was the hole in my heart I felt because my dad was not there anymore. The memories continued to surface, but stung because I knew I would never be able to make more memories with my father. There were several "firsts" I had to face; first birthday, first day of Senior year, first Christmas. Friends and family were very supportive during this time, but nothing compared to the support I received from my dad when I did something for the first time. Other than my mother, I felt like my biggest supporter was done cheering for me. One of the "firsts" I had to go through was my birthday. My dad was the life of the party. There was never a time a genuine smile or comical laugh was not appearing from his face. This year we did not have that. We still had a lot gathered at the house, but there was one person in particular who was not there to make my birthday extra special. It was a weird feeling on the first day of Senior year when I did not stand in front of my house and have a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
