Technological innovations in the past three years.
Technological innovation is the successful implementation (in commerce or management) of a technical idea new to the institution creating it. Innovations are distinguished from inventions, technology, and research, but may arise from any of the three.
2. UAV technology
▪Covers everything from the
1. Aerodynamics of the drone
2. Materials in the manufacture of the
physical UAV
3. The circuit board(s)
4. Chipset
5. Software
the brains of the
drone
4. How quadcopters Work ?
▪ Light composite materials
▪ Use two pairs of identical fixed pitched propellers;
two clockwise (CW) and two counterclockwise (CCW).
▪ These use independent variation of the speed of each rotor to
achieve control.
At a small size, quadcopters are cheaper and more
durable than conventional helicopters due to their
mechanical simplicity.
7. ESIGHT - The vision to do more
(Breakthrough assistive technology for the visually impaired )
8. USP: ESight 3 provides battery backup of 2 hours of regular use. An optional
battery pack extends battery life to approximately 4 hours. eSight 3 is also
compatible with most conventional portable chargers.
9. How does it work ?
• It uses a cutting edge camera, to put
video directly in front of our eyes
allowing us to see what is in front of
us, near or far, in real time.
• It combines bright, clear screens with
a high-tech camera to let you see text
up close or detail in the distance.
You can switch between the two
almost instantly. The visor flips up
easily, for face-to-face interaction.
14. Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display
environment that takes the capabilities of computer generated
display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world
experience.
Augmented reality combines real and computer-based scenes and
images to deliver a unified but enhanced view of the world.
15. HOW DOES IT WORKS?
The basic idea of augmented reality is to superimpose graphics,
audio and other sense enhancements over a real-world environment
in real-time.
The graphics will then change to accommodate the user’s eye or
head movements
16. Applications of Augmented Reality-
1. Augmented reality in Healthcare
2. Sephora Virtual Artist and Rolex
3. AR for Educational Purpose
4. AR in eCommerce
