An employee can come in anytime to the clinic to ask for a medicine, so the nurse gives the medicine. An employee can request for a one-hour rest and the nurse allows the employee to rest for one-hour inside the clinic or advises them to go home. The engagement ends there.
But, what if we could do more for the employees?
Are we really looking at the bigger picture or just the tip of the iceberg? Are there any underlying causes for all these headaches, stomach pains, back pains, etc..?
Is it possible to provide proactive medicine rather than reactive medicine?
The LiveWell Corporate Wellness program aims to address these concerns.
Gathering and collecting fresh data is important in accurately monitoring the health profile of the organization. As part of the medical team, your commitment to use the portal for each consultation and input all information is essential to this process.
The LiveWell Corporate Wellness Program aims to track employee engagement in real time to give the employer visibility on the health and well-being of the organization. With the data we have in the platform, we can tailor-fit our wellbeing program to the main riskgroups and disease of the organization.
In larger companies, as part of the healthcare provider package, employees are required to undergo an Annual Physical Exam. It’s a good way to get a snapshot of the health of an organization at a certain point in time. It provides the organization a certain number of signs and symptoms that could lead to more serious illness. It will for example allow you to get the number of people suffering from overweight, underweight, obesity, hypertension, UTI… This allows the organization to draw the main objective of the corporate wellness program.
APE results are uploaded through the portal and both the medical team and the employees will have access to their medical information. On the employee side, the annual physical examination can be a source of reassurance that they are as healthy as they feel or to some, an alarm system, to catch health problems before they become serious. But, the APE results are just a snapshot of what is going on with the employees at the specific moment of the tests.
A lot can happen in a year and this is why we seek for the most updated data to correlate with the data we’ve obtained from the APE results.
We can also use the portal to collect data from individual tracking of employees of their activities and goals that they've set for themselves. This information can be used by the medical team to focus on these health opportunities. They can also use this data to encourage employees for any further consultation with a wellness coach or a nutritionist or simply to log in to the portal and take advantage of the on-going challenges and sessions. Lastly, we can also use consultations with Doctors and Nurses to monitor our employees based on their Riskgroups and other important medical information. These consultations can build and maintain a relationship with the medical team in case of any future illness, and the data to be gathered from these consultations will allow us to monitor and track the improvement of an organization. With all this information through the portal, Doctors and Nurses can check every now and then for health statistics and what needs to be addressed immediately. Discussions over consultations can now be documented through the portal, making sure that we can view and compare the previous medical engagements of each employee. Using these data, we can now focus on how we can improve or maintain employees’ health and wellness. These are data that we can use to base our wellness plans, fitness sessions, and health education.
LiveWell Corporate Wellness Program aims to incorporate data from activities of daily living into providers’ clinical information systems. The goal of the LiveWell platform is to integrate daily-life data seamlessly into the organization’s clinical management to drive employee engagement.
We want our medical team to minimize health utilization by providing preventive medicine rather than reactive medicine. We don't want to just give out medicines or advise employees to rest or to go home. We want to look at the bigger picture and analyze what causes these health concerns.
Instead of waiting for sick patients to come knocking on your door, you need to figure out what they need, when they need it, and how to get it for them. Are we really looking at the bigger picture? Are there any underlying causes for these headaches, stomach pains, back pains, etc...? Unlike reactive medicine which waits for the disease to begin and then rushes in to resolve the symptoms, proactive medicine provides the opportunity for maximizing prevention and aims to treat the root cause of the disease.

We also want to make your life easier by making sure you can easily plan and schedule all your employee engagement through the portal. All your scheduled clients, pending engagements and requested sessions will be seen in the portal.
Doctors and Nurses can also use the search and filter function of the portal. You can filter your schedules by department or across the organization. You can also use the medical filter, where you can see all the Riskgroups identified for the organization. You can make use of this information to set follow-ups or to focus on certain groups that needs constant medical attention.
The portal should be used in all consultation and all relevant information should be entered on each consultation. With your help, we will be able to gather all the relevant data, to identify current issues in the organization and be able to address them through employee engagement activities. We can base our wellness programs and activities on your suggestions or recommendations and we can add services that can cater to the health and wellness improvement of the employees.
The Medical Template is user-friendly. It is very easy to use and is created to your convenience. It serves as a guideline on how we can provide a more proactive care to our clients by following steps like reviewing previous records and reviewing any medical results presented, determining goals from the clients, suggesting and recommending action plans to reach goals set.
The template also serves as a document where you can enter all information about the consultation and view it anytime. It can be used to encode vitals of the employee and test results to be provided. Reasons for consultation and the medicines given can also be documented using the template, for easy tracking and easy monitoring. All discussion during the consultation can be entered in the template, making it a paperless work environment for the medical team.
Medical Team will also be able to view previous consultations. This is beneficial to track and monitor patterns or trends based on employees medical profile. You can easily go to the client’s profile, and click view medical engagement. From this window, you will see a list of all the medical engagements under the client’s profile. The list shows who conducted the consultation, and the date of engagement. When you click view, you will see the previous notes entered in the portal. This is why, it is very important to enter all consultations in the portal. It will help the entire medical team to be aware of the health profile of each client.
Employees can then access their medical information and can track their improvement. This data is essential to employees because it will create awareness and it will help them be engaged in activities that will maintain or improve their wellness. Employees can go to their profile and click view medical chart to see their APE results. They can also go to view medical engagement so they can see all their previous consultations. Employees can also set their own goals and join a wellness plan that they think will be appropriate for them based on their health profile.
Medical Team will also have visibility to on-going activities. They can suggest or recommend these activities based on the employee’s medical profile.
Our objective is to improve the health of an organization. If we do this, we can minimize financial loss due to attrition and absenteeism.
