Here are a few tips for success for the optional gratitude journal
assignment this week. After reading Chapter 7, the objective is to create a
Journal (either written or on video) where you record daily acts of
gratitude.
you have two choices in step 1:
A) Perform and record random acts of kindness for 5 days. (Note: 5 separate
entries are required)
! Remember, random acts of kindness can be anything! Click HERE if you are
! stuck and need an idea.
OR
B) Write down or video tape yourself explaining 3 things that you are grateful
for at the end of the day. (Note: 5 separate entries are required)
step 2:
Do not forget to answer the Step 2 discussion question thoroughly. I want
to see an in depth response that includes details on how these entries
affected you. “This activity had a huge impact on me and those I helped” is
not sufficient.
*Without all elements in Step 1 and 2, you will not receive
formatting:
Video: If you want to create a video and are unsure of how, I
have provided step-by-step instructions on how to record
yourself using Photo Booth in the References section of the platform.
Tip: You do not have to submit 5 different videos; you can compile all 5
entries into one.
Written: You can use any program on your computer such as Word,
Powerpoint, etc. However, it must be at least 1 page in length. I encourage
you to get creative!
