Running a freelance public relations business
has its perks. Sondra spends her days
mingling with city leaders, politicians, and
local celebrities and media. Last year she
spent a Sunday on the sidelines at a Bengals
game. Unfortunately for Sondra, Public
Relations is a 24/7 job, often leaving her few
precious hours for leisure time during the
week.
Sondra recently moved to a trendy new condo
overlooking Central Parkway, and in doing so
has rediscovered the Main Library. She tries to
keep a book on her coffee table to unwind after
a long day, but many times prefers old
episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. She likes the
convenience of buying books online and has
considered buying a Kindle, but knows that
using it is mostly wishful thinking. Sondra
likes all that the library has to offer, but it is
only one of many options for entertainment in
the event she gets an actual day off.
