2. Joey’s Newborns stay inside the mothers pouch for about 6 months. When they go inside the pouch they take a teat that gives it milk. It grazes on grass until it gets too big for the pouch.
3. Food Kangaroos eat grass and other vegetation such as young shoots, tender leaves from native shrubs, and grains.

5. Other Facts The largest kangaroo is the great red kangaroo. The male is 7ft. tall and 200 lbs. 2 members of the kangaroo family are wallabies and padmelons.
