Yesterday we presented Greece… 2 what we didn’t say is that Greece is in a big recession and things have to change in order to live a decent life… The hardest thing to change is not the economy but the mentality of the people. Living in a small town of 15.000 mentality grows strong and change is hard to achieve
3. We decided to change 3 A small group of people decided to join forces and create an active volunteer group of citizens that would be strongly involved in the life of the town. From being viewers of life passing by we decided to become DO-ERS and act very often to achieve small or bigger goals in order to change our life and make it better.

6. Why«Citizen Alert Network»; 6 Network We believe in the power of networking with other people, groups etc. Alert We put an alert on our selves first. Then we alert everybody else about important issues of our society! Citizen Because we are active citizens of our town

The important issues we ACT ON 7 Ecology / Environment Cultural and Sport events Public access to all public space (pavements, streets, bicycle streets, squares, beaches, forest, etc.) Motivate people to use public space (playgrounds, open sport arenas, etc.) We support sustainable growth that ensures a future for the environment and the new generation Aesthetics of the city
8. How we ACT 8 We focus on certain groups and with our know-how in organizing events we help them to see life in a different way and to realize that they have the power to change it. So we make a start with lots of events and then it’s up to them to follow on…
