2. PDA
PDA or personal digital assistant is a device that is
used to organize or keep track of your day and the
activities you do during it.
An advantage of having a PDA is that they are small,
portable and easy to use.
3. Mobile Phone
Mobile phones are a portable form of communication
with which you can make a phone call, send a text
message, access the internet and send an e-mail from
now.
4. Laptop
A laptop is a portable computer, this you can use to
access the internet, play games, send e-mails and
everything else you can use a normal computer for.
Usually, a laptop will have a track pad instead of a
mouse.
5. Computer base unit
The purpose of the computer base unit is to enclose
and contain the internal components of a computer,
such as, the motherboard, the adapter cards, the RAM,
the CPU, the heat sink, etc.
6. Tablet
A tablet is a portable device like a laptop, however a
tablet does not have a keyboard or a mouse/track pad,
a tablet is usually touch screen, relying on a human
finger or hand to navigate it or a stylus that would come
with it.
7. Games Console
A games console is a device that can be either
portable, or not, is it is, it is usually like a tablet with
controls on it, if it is not, then it is more like a computer
base unit that uses a television as a monitor and relies
on a remote controller to control the game play.
8. Server
Servers perform tasks that are set or manage a certain
group of computers, printers or designated
components.
9. Netbook
A netbook is the stage between a laptop and a PDA, it
is able to organize tasks and track your day but is also
able to connect to the internet and do a small amount
of things a laptop can do.
