3. Decca Broadway
The label made its mark soon after its founding by
remastering and reissuing nearly every Decca
Records label cast recording, many of which had not
been commercially available for more than 50 years.
Decca Broadway continues to release new cast
recordings, although the new recordings are done
much more selectively, with a focus on the most
popular shows.
With a catalog that includes Monty Python’s
Spamalot, Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of
Oz, and Dreamgirls, Decca Broadway also releases
selections from its shows. Even if a title is unavailable
for physical purchase, the majority of the label’s
catalog is available for digital download.
