2. A good article is vital when creating a magazine,
it must be interesting and informative. This will
encourage the audience to continue to buy the
product as they recognise that the magazine can
be trusted to provide strong and entertaining
articles about their favourite artists.
3. The article I will use on my double page spread
will hold some truth however it will be
commercialised to increase interest. I shall write
the article about my friend, who is also the
model featuring on the page. They article will be
in the style of an interview and I have decided to
include a ‘baby story’, as this always appeals to
the audience. I will ask questions about the
recent band split and rumours of him going it
alone.
4. Jordan has been the front man of critically acclaimed ‘union fall’ for over ten
years. Until we heard those dreaded words… So what went wrong? Why did they
decide to split? We at MFT were lucky enough to ask Jordan ourselves.
So Jordan when did you decide that union fall should be no more? Well as much
as we’ve all enjoyed our time together it had been a long time coming. I think we
all just missed our families. Ten years of writing recording and touring is
understandably tough, how old were you all when union fall took flight? I would
have been about 14 I guess. We all met in secondary school so we were all around
the same age. At first it was exciting and what we had always wanted. Well its
every kids dream to ne a rock star isn't it? I just don't really think any of us were
really prepared for how tough it is being away for so long. There have been all
sorts of telling us you have a new edition to the family on the way too? Yeah it is
true. My fiancé is due next summer. That was another reason for me to quit. I just
cant put in the time anymore. I need to take some time away to raise my kid..
Congratulations, any baby names? I've always wanted something nerdy like Frodo
or something but my missus wont go for that ill just leave it up to her, she wears
the trousers. I think we can al relate there. So are we to expect anything more
from you or is this is? I don’t want to reveal too much, but I do plan to do some
solo work. The last few years I've needed to spread my wings just to see how well
I can fly on my own, so this wont be the last you see of me.
