2. Our ears have balanced ear pressure. Sometimes air pressure
changes due to to the variation of altitude, like when we travel by
airplane or go to a hill station or diving in the sea. This change in air
pressure causes pain in the ears. This is called air clogging and this
is the time when we pop ear.
Clogged ears decrease hearing and create an irritating situation
that is very uncomfortable. In medical term, this uncomfortable
situation is known as Ear Barotrauma. This happens when the air
pressure of eardrums is unbalanced. And to make it balanced again
the eustachian tube need to be opened.
