Introduction
- Usually developed around a natural
resource such as a creek, river or canal.
- It provided a natural environment for
walking, jogging, and bicycling trails.
- Represent a linking neighborhoods to
parks

History Background
- Before there was Putrajaya,the land was
formerly known as Prang Besar Estate in
the state of Selangor.
- On oct 19,1995,the third Federal Territory
of Malaysia was officially created.
- It was named Putrajaya in memory of
Malaysia’s first prime minister Tunku
Abdul Rahman Putra Al-haj,with the suffix
“jaya’ which means “success”.
10. Charles River Reservation
• In 1844, a plan for the Boston area was developed with the imagination of the
river as a the centrepiece of the boston reigon in mind.
• Today, the Charles river resevation is a twenty mile linear park stretching from
Boston Harbor up river to Riverdale Park in West Roxbury. The lower half of the
reservation, from downtown Boston to the Watertown Dam, is the Charles river
Basin, which includes the Esplanade on the Boston side of the river.

The lower half of the reservation, from
downtown Boston to the Watertown Dam,
is the Charles River Basin , which includes
the Esplanade on the Boston side. The
basin abuts the campuses of MIT, Boston
University and Harvard.
14. As you can see there is a lot of building and
natural structures surrounding it.
MIT Museum is location near the reservation
which gives a chance to the locals and
tourisms a look at the history of Boston and
everything about it.
We have: the
Charles river,
which runs from
the sea to the
Boston university
to go on and on.
The red
lines/pathways is
the pathway one
would jog/walk on
the reservation.
There is also some little man
made lake/ dams locationed
near the Boston Park plaza

15. Conclusion
- A combination of manmade and natural
phenomenon, one is able to enjoy a good
walk, jog or run with the elements
- They can also Relax and enjoyable the
company of family, life partners and
friends.
- Since cities are high congested, people go
to the park to release their stresses.
