1. TEXT IDEA
 A group of friends have decided to go camping for the weekend in a forest, rumored to be
haunted.
 The first night, sounds and screams are heard around them. One male (Jack) of the group
goes to explore to put the friends (Charlotte and Vinnie) minds at ease. When the male
hasn’t returned by the morning the friends are fearful.
 The second night approaches and with Jack still missing the friends go looking for Jack. The
forest is thick and dark. The friends slip down a hill which leaves one of the friends with an
injured ankle. They find Jack’s shoe and follow the directions of some marks that surround
the shoe.
 They come across an abandoned building. With no ability to see, one friend trips over
something which they discover is Jacks body.

2. SHORT FILM PITCH
 After the text the recording begins.
 Charlotte and Vinnie decide to go back to camp and warn the others of Jacks death. Filming from
their phone they use the light to guide them down the path in the direction of the campsite
 Distant screams and steps getting closer are heard. They panic when the beam of the light flashes
across a figure in the distance.
 They scream and run as the light is reflected off a knife. With the bad ankle, Vinnie trips and falls
to the ground.
 It cuts to the man raising his weapon, then crosses to Charlotte running away.
 Charlotte hears a scream
 The recording crosses to Vinnie who is now dead

 It starts with an equilibrium there is a disturbance which is Jacks death
 Our film has no resolution
 It is an open ending and is left to the audience imagination if the girl gets killed or not
 Set in a forest at night, the lighting is dark which creates a sense of tension
 We are filming some scenes with a mobile phone which has torch which will shine certain
places with light which will also cause tension
