policy analyst for a local firm. Charles Stam
possesses a bachelor of arts from Columbia
College, where he double majored in history
and political science.
The political science program at Columbia
College encompasses four sub-fields, including
American politics, comparative politics,
international relations, and political theory. In
addition, the curriculum covers political
economy and methodology, which involves
formal modeling and statistical analysis.
3. Columbia College undergraduate students majoring
in the field are required to complete 29 points, of
which nine points must be fulfilled in one of the four
sub-fields, six points in another sub-field, and six points
in political science, where three points pertain to
research methods. The remaining eight points can be
fulfilled through completion of two four-point
seminars during their final two years in the
undergraduate program.
