Recipients are also expected to become active participants in all NSHMBA organized

National black MBA association (NBMBAA)
This award is aimed at minority students enrolled in an accredited university in the United
States or Canada. The application requirements are submission of a 300 word essay on
given topics, a resume, passport photo and official transcripts.
The award criteria are:

2. The student be able to demonstrate academic excellence
3. Be able to exhibit strong communication skills
4. Show evidence of community service
Awards are usually between the ranges of $1000 to $15,000 membership and include a
membership of NBMBAA. Recipients are required to participate in limited public relations
activities for the NBMBAA, become active members of their local chapters, as well as join
