Development of Work at Height Competency Framework

Work at Height (WAH) has been a major concern over the years as it accounts for more than half of the workplace fatalities in Singapore. Besides enforcement, another approach to minimise the lost of lives due to WAH accidents is to provide WAH training at all levels. This presentation discussed the development of a competency framework that lays down competency requirements for four levels of WAH personnel, namely the workers, supervisors, assessors and authorised managers.
