I. Hand hygiene and disinfection protocols
are a very important factor when it
comes to erradicating an infection
II. Techniques such as PFGE are critical
when trying to identify the strain of a
specific organism in order to aquire more
information about further treatment
III. Acinetobacter is one of the most
common ethiologies of nosocomial
infections
IV. As doctors we have the responsibility of
taking care and to help prevent microbial
resistance concerning the prescription of
medication for our patients
