Responsible for accurately processing orders for controlled substances according to policy and in accordance with state and federal laws. Specifically: ➢ Accurately enter medication orders into patient profile into Framework using proper coding and established department protocol ➢ Produce Requests for physician signature or for pharmacist’s verbal order signature ➢ Obtain hard copy prescriptions for all control orders by directly contacting doctor or working with designated agents of practitioner at facility ➢ Resolve insurance and payment issues ➢ Obtain clarification of orders for missing and/or unclear information including hard copies and POS orders. ➢ Process depart...
