• Research is done to make sure that all aspects of the film
that is being created are accurate and do not commit any
continuity errors. This will also help to increase the realism
in the film. For research it could be anything from a survey
to an interview with anybody that has experienced similar
circumstances, for example when filming paranormal
activity, the producers interviewed people that had
experienced similar circumstances.
• The planning for shooting a film is to make sure that you
can fit all the different pieces of information into the film
without clashing, and also it is to do with time
management because you need to be able to shoot the
scenes with enough time to spare.
