This document provides a 7-step guide to installing the Google Drive desktop application. It instructs users to click through to accept and download the installer, run the installation file, and then allows automatic backup of files from the user's computer to their Google Drive once installation is complete. It notes there is a 15GB maximum storage limit per Gmail account and that backup times may vary depending on file size and internet connection speed.

Click “Accept & Install”

4. How to Install - Step 3 - Save the Installer (*.exe)
Click “Save File”

5. How to Install - Step 4 - Installation
Click “googledrivesync” from
your PC to start the installation

6. How to Install - Step 5 - Installation in Progress
A message box will pop up indicating
the “Installation Progress”

7. How to Install - Step 6 - Installation Complete
You will find an icon on your
Desktop once the installation
completed

8. How to Install - Step 7 - Backup Your Files
There will be a small icon at the bottom
right.
Move all your documents from
“My Document” into “Google Drive”
and the synchronization will start
automatically.

9. Notes
1. There are a limitation of 15GB (Max) for each gmail account holder.
Recommend only to backup ordinary non-media files such as doc, xls, pdf,
ppt etc. **Media file i.e. mp3, mp4, video clips etc.
2. Backup might take some times to complete depends on the capacity of the
files moved into your Google Drive folder and as well the internet speed
connection.
