1. COMPLAINTS
Occasionally things go wrong and we need to hear from you in order to put them right. We treat complaints very
seriously and we welcome constructive comments and complaints, when you feel this is needed. The complaints
procedure is available on the HE Information site on Blackboard.

We promise that any complaint will be investigated fully, and that you will receive an initial response within five
working days. We welcome suggestions from students, employers and others who use our facilities. If you have any
ideas, comments or suggestions you would like to pass on to us then contact us as above.
ACADEMIC APPEALS
An academic appeal is defined as a request for a review of a decision of an academic body charged with decisions
of student assesment and awards (normally the Assessment/Exam Board Comittee). Further information about
academic appeals is available under HE Information on Blackboard, via your partner university’s website and
programme handbook or just ask the HE Quality Team (HE@bridgwater.ac.uk or come and see us at the
Bridgwater Centre in room D29).
