intent behind a user's search rather than
just individual keywords

Goal:
• Enhance the algorithm's ability to comprehend the
meaning and context behind user queries, focusing on
semantic search.
• Prioritize understanding and addressing the user's
underlying intent behind a search, going beyond literal
keyword matching.
It assesses the importance of web pages
based on the quantity and quality of links
pointing to them. Pages with more high-
quality inbound links are considered more
authoritative.

Goal:
• Emphasize pages with reputable links to deliver more
relevant search results.
