1. I attended a study abroad program based in Berlin for four and a half weeks. Courses were offered in English by professors from Kentucky institutions. Each week, several class meetings were reinforced by excursions to various locations to reinforce the lessons. This experience gave me an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, to solidify much of my German education, and to explore new cultures and perspectives. This trip has also given me valuable information to use as I move toward future decisions on my major and career. <br />
