I was born and raised in Midland, Texas.

3. I attended Midland Christian High School.

4. Higher Education
I am a current student at Texas Tech University in
college of Human Sciences.
My degree work is in Community, Family, and Addiction Services

5. Higher Education Cont.
My current goal is to be accepted into the Human Sciences
Graduate School of Marriage and Family Therapy

6. Graduation and Certification
When I graduate from Marriage and Family
Therapy I will need to pursue certification
Certification in the State of Texas includes a 3500 hour supervised practice
as well as a State Licensure Board.

7. Future Goals
My main goal after licensure is to have my own practice.
Having my own office and setting my own hours would be
a nice pace later in my career.

8. Extracurricular Learning
I am currently continuing my education outside of the
class in case study.

9. Overcoming Adversity
Adversity is nothing new in my life. I have been in the family
dynamic of alcoholism and dysfunction and have had to progress
and overcome it to move to this stage in my life
