Identify and install software required for specific
tasks, including Internet plug-ins (such as
Acrobat Reader, etc.), shareware, freeware,
demo software, anti-virus software, and software
updates.
Part 4 – Demo Software
3. Demo Software Defined
Demo Software is software that allows the user to
try it before they buy it. It gives the user an opportunity
to see what the software is about, if they are comfortable
with using it, etc.
Demo software ranges from all different kinds.
Some can be productive for the work environment while
others are strictly for entertainment
4. Choose your Demo Software
• Find demo software online from a safe and trusted source
• For this example we will be doing a photography software trial
• This product is from the MacApp store. So all that is
required is to sign in with the account linked to the
computer
5. Download your Demo Software
• On a mac, to
correctly
download the
software, you
need to open the
download disk. It
will move from
the icon in the
store to the
bottom of the
screen while it
finishes
downloading
6. Using your Demo Software
• Click the icon
and the
application will
open
• Because it’s a
demo notice the
option to upgrade
your software to
the full version
that will always
be there until
your trial is over
