What are we doing for students, teachers and parents to ensure
students reach their potential at Magdalene?



How can we effectively implement the Diocesan Teaching and
Learning Framework to benefit teachers and ultimately
students.
Focus for 2009 is working with the Diocesan Learning &
Teaching framework, initially focusing on high expectations.




Implementing relevant PD and opportunity for conversation
regarding high expectations.
What are the expectations? What does high
expectations mean?


How is the message delivered?


How do we provide feedback and what happens when
expectations are not met?
Students
What is the quality and quantity of work expected and then
how do we articulate this to students.

Focus attention to front of class
Ask questions if you don't understand

Working with friends is good
Study and take extra notes
Don't leave things to the last minute
Set goals and know what you want to do
Organise workbooks
Don't delay getting work done
Don't cheat, try the work yourself, then get help
