George Orwell isawell-knownwriterforhisfamous
book,1984. He was born onJune 25, 1903 inMotihari,India.
His fatherwas a Britishcivil servantwhowasstationedinIndia,
but George movedto Londona year afterhe was born.His
fatherwasconservative accordingtoGeorge andtheydidn’t
reallyhave astrong bond.Hischildhoodmostlyconsistpf being
sicksuch as gettingthe fluor bronchitis.
Afterhe graduatedfromboardingschool,he wentonto join
the IndiaImperial Police Force forfive yearsbecausehisfamily
didn’thave enoughmoneytosendhimtocollege.He began
writingafterhe leftthe police force.Hisfirstworkwas Down
and Out. Somewhatduring1936, he hadmet Eileenwholater
became hiswife.He laterthenjoinedagroupwhere they
foughtagainstGeneral FranciscoFrancoin December1936,
where he wasshot inthe throat whichmade himnot speakfor
a verylongamount of time.
SadlyIn 1938, he wasdiagnosedwithtuberculosis.He foundoutthatthere wasno treatmentforhis
disease,sohe wentoutto findwritingjobs.He wrote numerousof reviewsandessays.In1941, he
landedajob as a BBC producer.Sadlyon January20, 1950, Orwell hadpassedaway.Hislife gave usa
bookwhere we actuallycanbe more aware of the world,sothankyou George Orwell.
