2. Materials Tools
• Bamboo (3 m long – 6 nos.)
• Bamboo ( 18” long – 3 nos.)
• Threaded rod (9 x 5”)
• Nuts – 18 units
• Washers 18
• Jute rope
• Shellac paint ( green)
• Mitre Saw
• Machete or Bamboo slicer
• Drill ( with wooden drill bit 6”)
• Compressor with Spray gun or
Spray paint

3. Low Bamboo Bench
You will need :
• 2 bamboo poles 130 cm long
• 4 poles 67 cm long

STEP 1
Take 6 pallet woods – 57 cm long each

4. • Use threaded rod to make holes in the bamboo poles.
• Fasten these using nuts and bolts.
• The bamboo framework will look like this.

5. • Fix the pallets onto the bamboo framework as shown.
• You can use jute to tie them for extra strength and
it also adds a nice touch.

6. • Use shellac and green paint to give a
natural finish to the bamboo.
Voila! The Low Bamboo Bench is
ready.
