STORY TELLING MINDMAP
By Bethany Bouchareb
A series of photos- This
could construct a
timeline or could show
an event through
stages, or perhaps show
an evolvement.

Video the event at the time- By videoing the event
at the time the video acts as a
documentary, documenting what is happening at
that very moment, it also emphasizes what is going
on.

Reconstruct an event and video it- By
reconstructing an event that has already
happened there can be a voice over and it can
seem more staged, making it more like a film to
watch and perhaps seem more fiction even if it
is non fiction.

Video-video someone and their daily life to perhaps
represent monotony, or document their life, telling the
story of them.

Photos- Through the
use of photographs an
event or memory can
be captured and
therefore recorded.
This allows people to
look back and allow a A single photo- A single photo
with power can show a story
story to be told.
e.g. a princess and a hero could
show the story of a typical
fairytale.

STORY TELLING

Video Interview- A video could be
shot of a person describing an
event or their life and their visual
could accompany this, this
showing their emotion of the
event at the time.

Magazines- Magazines can
document the lives of people who
are believed to be most
important, telling the stories of
those who they think are superior
to everyone else. This is
demonstrated through
articles, which contains written
text and photos.

Interview- Interview someone on their life or on a
significant event which they have witnessed, this is
the process of them telling a story, it can be personal
or impersonal.

Written text-Through
written text story telling
can be portrayed as an
actual story, it can be a
record of fictional or
non fictional events
through the use of
words.

Audio Interview- A person
could be recorded, telling an
event, and then their could be
pictures accompanying the
audio, illustrating the event
through still images but making
it more obvious to understand
with the accompaniment of the
audio.
