4. Why social Entrepreneur is created.
Social entrepreneurship is distinct from the concept of
entrepreneurship, yet still shares several similarities with its
business cousin. Jean-Baptiste Say (1767–1832), a French
economist, defined an entrepreneur as a person who "undertakes"
an idea and shifts perspectives in a way that it alters the effect that
an idea has on society. An entrepreneur is further defined by Say
as someone who "shifts economic resources out of an area of lower
and into an area of higher productivity and greater yield."

5. What does it take to be a successful social
entrepreneur?
Founding a startup is hard. Founding one that has a social mission
is even harder. Thanks to the work of Social Capital Markets and its
annual SOCAP conference, social entrepreneurs can more easily
develop their networks, find potential investors, and expand their

with a mission of making the world better.

7. What I Have Learnt
I learnt that social companies such as ones set up by Muhammad
Yunus have the potential to help the needy as shown in the video he
distributed cheap yoghurt to those who can’t afford it,he also helps
people who lack the need of money and that the needy can borrow
and return the money,if there were more social companies such as
this i think the needy can be fully helped and nothing bad could
happen.
