• RateMyProfessors.com is the largest online destination for professor
ratings.
• The site was originally launched as TeacherRatings.com and
converted to RateMyProfessors in 2001. RateMyProfessors.com was
acquired in 2005 by Pat Nagle and William Desantis, who then sold it
to MTVU, MTV’s college channel.
• Users have added more than 14 million ratings, 1.3 million
professors and 7,000 schools to RateMyProfessors.com.
• Students across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom
can go on for free, type in the professors name, and see what other
students thought of him or her.
• More than 4 million college students each month are using Rate My
Professors.
• Now, students can rate not only the professors at the school, but
also the school itself.

• Personally, I spend more time on my phone looking things up
then I do on my computer.
• It would be a lot easier for students to pull out there phone,
go to the Rate My Professor app, and search for them rather
then going on the internet and typing in the URL and waiting
for it to load.
• It makes it easier when picking classes so students don’t have
to go back and forth between pages. They can keep there app
open right next to them.
• An app would be more conveinent.

North America.
• When you rate or search a professor, you can add them to
your favorites list.
• After you search, there is a section for “recently viewed” in
case you forgot the name of a professor.
• Also has a “Tops List” of the year to see what professor was
the best rated in the country.
