Israel Demands a King
1 शमूएल 8:6 परन्तु जो बात उन्होंने कही, कक हम पर
न्याय करने के ललये हमारे ऊपर राजा ननयुक्त कर दे,
यह बात शमूएल को बुरी लगी। और शमूएल ने यहोवा से
प्राथकना की। 7 और यहोवा ने शमूएल से कहा, वे लोग
जो कु छ तुझ से कह़ें उसे मान ले; क्योंकक उन्होंने िुझ
को निीां परन्िु मुझी को तनकम्मा जाना िै, कक मैं उनका
राजा न रिूां।
I Samuel 8:6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this
displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told
him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not
you they have rejected, but they have rejected me
as their king.

Israel Demands a King
1 शमूएल 8:8 जैसे जैसे काम वे उस ददन से, जब से मैं उन्िें
ममस्र से तनकाल लाया, आज के हदन िक करिे आए िैं,
कक मुझ को त्यािकर पराए, देविाओां की उपासना करिे
आए हैं, वैसे ही वे तुझ से भी करते हैं। 9 इसललये अब तू
उनकी बात मान; तौभी तू गम्भीरता से उन को भली भाांति
समझा दे, और उन को बतला भी दे कक जो राजा उन पर
राज्य करेगा उसका व्यवहार ककस प्रकार होगा॥
I Samuel 8:8 As they have done from the day I
brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me
and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now
listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what
the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”

1 Samuel 10:23 They ran and brought him out, and
as he stood among the people he was a head
taller than any of the others. 24 Samuel said to all
the people, “Do you see the man the LORD has
chosen? There is no one like him among all the
people.”

1 शमूएल 10:9 ज्योंही उसने शमूएल के पास से जाने को पीठ

और वे सब चचन्ह उसी ददन प्रगट हुए॥ 10 जब वे उधर उस
पहाड़ के पास आए, तब नबबयों का एक दल उसको लमला; और
परमेश्वर का आत्मा उस पर बल से उिरा, और वह उसके
बीच म़ें नबूवत करने लगा।
1 Samuel 10:9 As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God
changed Saul’s heart, and all these signs were
fulfilled that day. 10 When he and his servant arrived at
Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of
God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their
prophesying.

तो यहोवा तेरा राज्य इस्राएललयों के ऊपर सदा स्स्थर
रखता। 14 परन्तु अब िेरा राज्य बना न रिेिा; यहोवा ने अपने ललये
एक ऐसे पुरूष को ढूंढ ललया है जो उसके मन के अनुसार िै; और
यहोवा ने उसी को अपनी प्रजा पर प्रधान होने को ठहराया है, क्योंकक
तू ने यहोवा की आज्ञा को नहीं माना॥
1 Samuel 13:13“You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not
kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have
established your kingdom over Israel for all time. 14 But now your
kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his
own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not
kept the LORD’s command.”

the LORD your God.” 31 So Samuel went back with Saul, and Saul
worshiped the LORD.

1 Samuel 15:34 Then Samuel left for Ramah, but Saul went up to his
home in Gibeah of Saul. 35 Until the day Samuel died, he did not go
to see Saul again, though Samuel mourned for him. And
the Lord regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

1 Samuel 28:5 Saul took one look at the Philistine army and started shaking
with fear.6 So he asked the LORD what to do. But the LORD would not
answer, either in a dream or by a priest or a prophet. 7 Then Saul told his
officers, “Find me a woman who can talk to the spirits of the
dead. I’ll go to her and find out what’s going to happen.”
