Prince2 2009 - a summary
                        . (A practical look at the updated version 2009)

The method of the new version is that it is transparent with attention to the role of the sponsor
and steering committee members. The terminology is changing, however, so care to avoid
confusion. The changes are mostly in the field of classification and terminology. The
principles remain fully maintained; always update the business justification of the project,
sending a clear division of roles in disorders. Prince2 is a project management method with a
controlled way to deliver the project outcomes and each time weighed whether the intended
results still contribute to the objective of the process (Stage). In daily practice, the best
practice just best practice project management and ordinary project.

Yet the unique terminology is a major strength of Prince2. People know what a word meant,

change their own making. Only then can Prince2 2009 successfully implemented.
Why Prince2?
Prince2 provides the link between line organization and projects, and offers organizations the
opportunity for business and project risks better and effective control. The method provides
grip for:
• Controlled start, execution and closure by means of, inter alia, the steering decisions.
• Regular review of updated business case and explicit decision on whether or not to proceed
with the project during phase transitions.
• Regular monitoring of progress in relation to the planning a

but a means to a better project to continue. Therefore, scalability and important starting point:

client and project management.
