Radiology Department in the nation. Oversight of 400 FTEs and over 500,000 procedures
annually.
• Successful implementation of system-wide digital radiology image capture and voice
recognition transcription, generating cost savings during the first year of over 60%. This
also increased operational efficiencies and reductions in staff.

• Developed various compliance driven patient access initiatives to grow and expand
Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Services and Women’s Services.
• Lead efforts in integrating and standardizing the use of multi-million dollar capital
equipment and technology to streamline imaging operations, increase patient access
across the system, cross training of staff and support quality standards, such as radiation
and ordering appropriateness.
LSU – SHREVEPORT Shreveport, LA 2011
Engaged as a consultant to perform an assessment of the entire continuum of Radiology services
for Louisiana State University Medical School within three different campuses, entailing a full
scope of operations, from registration to physician report turnaround times.
Developed a quality driven assessment and plan of action encompassing:
• Productivity standards for staff and improvements with radiologist’s turnaround times.
• EMR/PACS/Voice recognition implementation.
• Five year implementation plan for capital equipment acquisition and replacement, with
standardization as the underlying strategy for better economies of scale pricing
negotiation.
BAPTIST RADIOLOGISTS/HCA Miami, FL 2003-2004
Executive Director/Project Manager
Working in a joint venture between one of the largest radiology groups in South Florida and
HCA/Concept Imaging on their first full service imaging center build out.

• Worked closely with architects and City of Miami Beach to build the center. Including
permitting practices and credentialing of the physicians with various managed care
payers.
• Developed various strategies targeted at referring physician groups and Chamber to grow
market share.
• Created and implemented the business plan for this joint venture startup. Attained a
profitable run rate four months ahead of schedule.

tracking existing product lines, and the implementation of new ones.
• Supported launching an aggressive marketing plan for Executive Health services,
